Homeless Working Group applied for and was granted a donation of a literal half ton of socks from the BOMBAS socks company. We’ll be giving them all out over the next year, and will be inviting the entire chapter to help us. This will be the beginning of restarting our chapter’s mutual aid efforts directed toward connecting with our homeless neighbors. 

Today members of HWG will be meeting at the office and giving am informal-ish training for chapter members who would like to get involved with our work. We’ll then be going out to neighborhoods in the city to do sock distribution, and talk to our neighbors.  If you’d like to sign up reach out at homelessness@dsasf.org
