Documentary Screening: “Bitter Lake” and the History of Afghanistan

October 9, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

With the U.S. Empire’s withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, it’s an opportune time to educate ourselves about the political history that created the conditions today in Afghanistan. Bitter Lake is a BBC documentary that helps explain these factors. We will be screening the documentary in the backyard of the DSA SF office starting at 7PM. Come for engaging conversation with comrades afterwards!

Instructions for accessing the backyard:

  1. An event coordinator will be at the front door welcoming people.
  2. Walk through the office to get to the backyard. Please wear a mask while in the office.
  3. The door to the backyard has a step up so is not wheelchair-accessible.
